The Last Revolution

If an animal goes on a hunt and spends all its energy in the chase and ends up gaining lesser energy than it spent, it means its a bad hunt. If it happens regularly, the animal is in trouble.

If a computer spends all its resources on booting itself up and there is nothing left to run the apps, you can be sure that the system is failing.

Now, its a fact that politicians and other people at places of power work hard. They are not as bad as we think they are. However, their job demands them to spend every ounce of the resources they have to serve themselves or their own networks. This helps them position themselves better. That’s the only way they can rule, else they are out of power. Whom does this really help?

Lets take a step back. This is weird stuff. Everything seems upside down. The maximum injustice ever done in modern times was meted out thru lawyers ( who are supposed to uphold justice ) , doctors destroy health ( I have a friend who suffers more after a surgery than before ) , universities destroy knowledge ( mostly, by turning individuals into robots to serve the society, is that knowledge ? ) . Governments take away freedom (aren’t the police supposed to protect you, why do they make you feel as if you are supposed to fear them? ) , major media houses destroy information and the list goes on and there no need to elaborate. Think about your own job. Chances are , you would be doing something which helps none ... except ... filling your own sense of insecurity which was created by the society in which no one truly fits in.

To revolt is hard when you can't see what you are revolting against. It gets tougher when people are drugged with fear and rules. Something is terribly wrong when we can't see that everything is upside down. It might serve us well at the moment to serve master and be happy in an inverted world by becoming inverted ourselves. But how different is it from a computer using all its resources trying to boot itself or from an animal which uses all its energy to gain lesser energy.

Human beings did solve this issue in the past. Instead of chasing meager food which was getting increasingly rare, they stopped, recognized the problem and became smart hunters by hurling spears or casting nets. That proved to be a revolutionary step in evolution.

Have we not reached a situation where we got to again stop , think and radically change the way the game of life is played ?

Man is not the last word of nature. The universe is full of a greater amplitude and hopefully we are given a choice as to how we wake up. Is it the soothing bells of Truth we are going to heed or the jarring alarm bells of systemic failure and extinction.

The last revolution would be this inner revolution again. We may not know what it is. If it is told it becomes a different kind of slavery to a new tyrant. May be the secret lies in a a luminous & conscious choice to look up into our higher self and prepare the descent of something which is beyond human , beyond mind and belongs to the realms of the Gods. There could be nothing more revolutionary than This.
